BSU Continuing Studies Cost
BSU Continuing Studies works with our academic departments to provide undergraduate courses online, at night and on weekends during the fall and spring semesters. Continuing Studies courses include courses that begin after 4 pm, Monday - Friday, and on weekends during the fall and spring semesters. Continuing Studies courses include all undergraduate courses during Summer Session and Winter Intersession including online courses and day and night courses.
BSU students: BSU students enrolled in a day degree program may mix day, night and online courses. The cost is the same for day, night or online courses at BSU. If a day student enrolls in more than 12 credits total during the fall or spring semester (day, night or online courses), there is an additional per-credit charge for night courses or hybrid courses that begin after 4 pm. Web courses are considered the day rate but are subject to the $25 per credit online fee.
Academic Year 2025 - 2026 (Fall 2025, Spring 2026 & Winter Intersession courses)
3- credit night or hybrid course: $1,510.50* ($503.50 per credit hour) for in-person or hybrid courses that begin after 4 pm, Monday - Friday, and on weekends and for any Winter Intersession course.
3-credit online/web course (courses with schedule type "web"): $1,585.50* ($503.50 per credit hour plus a web-based fee of $25 per credit course), including Winter Intersession.
*Please note: There is an additional per semester student fee of $28 for part-time students (students enrolled in 11 credits or less in a semester) or $56 for full-time students (students enrolled in 12 credits or more in a semester) in addition to tuition and fees during the fall and spring semesters.

2025 Summer Cost
3 credit course: $1,239.75 for in-person or hybrid courses held any time (day or night)
4 credit course: $1,653.00 for in-person or hybrid courses held any time (day or night)
3 credit online course: $1,314.75 (courses with schedule type “web” carry a $25 per credit course online fee)
4 credit online course: $1,753.00 (courses with schedule type “web” carry a $25 per credit online fee)
Per credit rate for summer courses: $413.25 for undergraduate courses
Payment Information
Payment for all credit courses is managed by BSU Student Accounts. Notification about billing will be sent to your BSU email account. To view account activity, please log into eBill.
Senior Citizens discount
Tuition and 1/2 fees in the day and/or 1/2 tuition and 1/2 fees for courses 4 pm or after are waived to any person 60 years of age or older. The person must bring proof of age to the Registrar's Office to be eligible.
