Bjorn Ingvoldstad is Professor of Communication, in his 20th year at BSU. His teaching encompasses both critical/cultural media studies and film/video production courses. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1991, earned an MA from The University of Texas in Critical/Cultural Media Studies in 1995, and received a PhD in Communication and Culture from Indiana University in 2006. He taught high school in Lithuania 1997-98, and received a Fulbright Fellowship to Lithuania in 2015, teaching at Vytautas Magnus University. He has published several pieces on Lithuanian media and media audiences, with a continued research interest in East/Central European film and media. He serves as a faculty advisor for the BSU baseball team.
